HE2 is a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides introductory education and scholarships in the automotive and construction trades with the goals of
– increasing the professional presence of women in these trades
– creating and preserving wealth through knowledge and application
Why was HE2 formed?
- Re-introduce these trades to women in order to help fill the labor shortage
- Increase options for reducing household expenses

- Prepare women for new careers
- Facilitate Creativity-by-Doing
- Myth-bust the tropes of women in the trades
HE2 currently serves the Houston and Brazos Valley areas.
